OEM vs. Aftermarket Crane Parts
"OEM" (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are produced by, or under license from, the crane manufacturer — SANY, XCMG, or Zoomlion. "Aftermarket" parts are produced by third-party manufacturers to the same fit and function, without the manufacturer's branding or licensing.
The real-world difference is rarely about whether the part works — it's about traceability, warranty terms, and, for some components, tolerance consistency. For wear items like filters, seals, and hoses, well-sourced aftermarket parts are a completely standard and cost-effective choice. For precision components — hydraulic pumps, ECU/control boards — the calculus shifts more toward OEM or closely OEM-equivalent sourcing, since tolerance or firmware mismatches are more consequential there.
We stock both, and we're direct about which is which — part descriptions and WhatsApp conversations specify source, not just part number.
